Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21 in 1983. She is an American actor best known for her character Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV series Lost. Originating from Worthington Ohio she dropped out of high school in order to relocate to Los Angeles with her mother following her divorce from her parents. Although she was struggling financially, her 2001 debut was as Rachel's Room's principal character. The TV film Murder in Greenwich that she appeared in, where she portrayed 15-year-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination for the Young Artist Award. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost TV show in 2004. She was the main character for two seasons and also won the Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was keen to pursue film after starring opposite Tom Welling's character on The Fog, in 2005. She has appeared on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club and in 2007 and Taken alongside Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. She played the same role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace was back on the Lost series in the final two episodes as Shannon. She appeared in 2013's seventh season Californication. The role she plays is Faith an actress who serves as a model for the stars and catches the attention of Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Gyllenhaal is a member of her family and is the elder sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager She began working as a small part-time actress for her father and appeared in Donnie Darko along with her sister. The next film she appeared in was Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, both 2002 and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal won critical praise for her performance as the lead actress in Secretary (2002) as well as in Sherrybaby (2006), which is an erotic romantic drama and Sherrybaby (2006). In 2006, she received a nomination from her fellow actors for the Golden Globe Award. In the wake of several successful commercial films in 2006 including World Trade Center she received more attention for her role as Rachel Dawes in the superhero film The Dark Knight (2008). Following her acclaimed performance as a mother who is not married on the screen in Crazy Heart (2009), she earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She subsequently starred in the dramatics and comedies: Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Will Not Back Down (2012). She also played an Secret Service Agent in White House Down the action thriller that was released in 2013. She also played she was a musician in Frank (2014) and the lead role on The Kindergarten Teacher, a drama that was released in the year of 2018. Gyllenhaal's first film as a director and writer took place in 2021, with The Lost Daughter, a psycho-drama for which she received an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. The film also received the Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
